Had my same 13" MacBook (pre pros) since 2008 and have never ever had a problem with it. Runs like the day I bought it. Bought my wife a PC several years ago for school. 6 months later it had crashed and there was nothing ever downloaded to it or anything.
Screw PC macs are worth their weight in gold.
