I was wanting to go from stock Dueler HTs 265/65/17 to this slightly more aggressive tire. I do a good bit of highway driving and want to keep my fuel efficiency to as close to what I'm currently getting about 19-19.5 mpg. All I have is Bilstein 5100s in the front set at 1.75". My buddy has close to the same setup in his 2007 (2" plate spacer in the front") and he put the BFG KO 265/70/17 and his mpg has decreased about 1.5-2mpg less. The BFGs are heavier though and weigh in at 45.2 lbs. as opposed to the Grabber AT2s which weigh in at 41.7 lbs. in the same exact size. I think our stock tires weigh around 38-39 lbs. Does anybody have this setup and can tell me how much mpg did they lose going from stock tires to these, if any? My only other option are the Yokohama Geolander ATS which weigh about 40 lbs too. But I like the look of the Grabbers better!

I have that exact tire and size.. You shouldn't lose much MPG, I didn't noticed much difference, a little maybe. They're pretty quite too.

I'm hoping only about 1 mpg less if that, since they are almost the same weight and size as stock. Plus they have a 60k warranty. Quick question...do yours have the option of putting that all black side walls out or only the white lettering? On the website, some say OWL (white lettering) and some say BSW (black side wall)? I want to put the black facing out, but it says OWL for the 265/70/17 SL tire? :notsure:

Yeah should be in that range.
I have about 40,000 on mine now, they're not gonna make it to 60, they may have another 4 or 5 left. I'm in the mountains quite a bit tho, and the twisties are rougher on tires.
And yes you can go black out.

NICE truck bro! Are those the Stealth 6 wheels matte jet black? If so, that's actually the EXACT wheels and tire setup I had planned!
