Question - do you avoid the BJCP competitions because they are "to style" or for a different reason? I have entered my beers in a few BJCP competitions and one okay so far. While I do not have any trophies I have never had any problems getting people to drink my beers either. :D

Too poor to list anything interesting.

I know I do this as more of a recreational thing. Not to win trophies. And some of those styles can be a little restrictive at times. But those judges can have better experience picking up on flavors or errors that I may have missed. So I brew and enter them just for fun. Plus, the ones I enter in, we usually get to hang out and drink at a brewery afterward. Win win.

And my friends love my beer. Haven't had a bad batch so far.

Maybe one day I'll put on my big boy pants and enter one of mine. I mean, I just took off my sway bar. One step at a time. :)

I had so many bottles when I switched to kegging. I think I only have one case of bomber bottles left.

It will sit in my closet for another month or so until my man cave is finished. I just got it last week when I was out in California.
