Didn't read through too many pages but so far haven't seen any with more than mine. A '98 4x4 with 322,xxx. Only thing Ive had a problem with is a worn out O2 sensor but that took 5 mins to replace. Other than that, has always been perfect.

I'm impressed ! Maybe I should get rid of my 08 and look for a 98
You haven't had to do wheel bearings, clutch, replace the frame ? I had to do wheel bearing with 65,000 on it and I don't go wheeling in the streams and mud holes some do. I'm sure you've done brakes, belts, plugs, MAF, filters as general maintenance. Thanks for any reply and congratulations.:D

Hah yeah I've only put about 10k on it myself so Im not sure on exactly all of the maintenance, but I did replace the front brakes, plugs, air filter, oils/fluids etc, just general stuff. Unfortunately an auto so no clutch :/ (got it before I could drive *cough* legally *cough* so my parents didnt want to overwhelm me. Really wish I got a manual since I've driven a few). Apparently the frame is stock which surprises me because of the condition and lack of rust and my tie rod ends are getting a little loose so it wanders a bit at high speed.
Little low on power in my opinion but its a high mileage 4-cyl hauling 50 lb tires around so Im not necessarily complaining.

He looked up the 2.7 and officially with proper maintenance it could last 450,000 miles.

Being a Toyota, doesn't surprise me at all.

    My '09 only has 32.5k

I have a very short commute.

'97 has 186K and I'm overhauling due to lost compression. So far I'm amazed at the specs. The rod bearings are still within limits ( I will replace w/ new tho). The machine shop says the valves, seats and guides all look fine. I discovered that the tech who installed new exhaust valves 80K ago mistimed the cams and left out the twist in the exhaust cam. Maybe that was the whole problem. Oh well, it's apart now.

Just turned 443,000. 2nd engine. Everything else original. Engine would knock a little on startup, especially if it was cold in the morning. Not much cold weather here in So Calif.. Started using Lucas oil treatment, no knock at all. Unfortunately, getting a 450 and 420 code on cel. Of course, it needs to be smogged. So I've got some work to do.

2009 five lug with 108k. Been a rocky start. Radio, main crankshaft seal fail, a/c compressor clutch fail. at least they were covered under warranty. Water Pump replaced at 106k. At least it been averaging 26mpg. Still plan on driving into the ground......

1998 3rz-fe with 232k. Head gasket blew at 231, decided to ship the head off to be completely rebuilt. Still has consistent and within spec compression and the cylinders still look basically new.

    Up to 145,700 today.

Dealer just took it for the frame treatment. Loaned me a beautiful highlander (so very quiet inside!), although I abhor the radio. It won't play folders off my USB stick! It just mixes everything together.

Thursday I drop about $400 for bearings, seals, and other random parts when I pick it up so I can try to salvage this transmission. I would really love to have 5th gear again.

Got mine a few months ago off a dealer, 27k on it and I thought that was good for a 2008. Looked great, felt great, almost to 31 now. Apparently an old man had it since new, barely drove it and garage kept it, then traded for a GMC. Nice little 5-speed 4x4. $17,000.

Nice ! A got the same truck but 79,000 on it. Yours is brand new from my point of view - 27k is nothing for the 2.7. Congratulations.
