That said, removing tint is super easy - so if your installer offers to remove it for free, go for it. If he wants money, I'd give it a shot first and see if you can handle it.

I just got my windows tinted today. I had them matched the rear factory tint on the sides, a 5% strip across the top of the windshield and 40% on the rest. I love the way it looks.

Can't speak for other states but in Virginia you can get a Dr too sign a form (found on dmv website) and cops can't do Jack! My dad had his dermatologist do it.

Here's mine with 5% on the back windows 15% on the front and a 5% strip on the windshield. The only part that makes my truck look ghetto is the fiberglass which is being painted soon

Tinted everything save the windshield quite heavily. Violation here but the cops don't seem to care. Has made my SoCal commute awesome. Got it done in that film that blocks infrared. The stuff works. You can call it ghetto all you like but I'll never do without full window tint again.

Posted this earlier but didn't specify the percentage. 5% Front and back. I live in Florida and it definitely helps with the heat. Legal limit is 28% but I haven't been cited for it and I've had it a couple months now. It isn't as noticeable on darker vehicles and cops don't seem to care about trucks having it.

Light, Bumpers, and lots of switches.

Is it a noticeable difference between the front and back window?

Ah, another Tampa guy. I need to go darker than my 35% I have now, although I do have my windshield done at 50% and love it. What is that animation on your signature?

I looked at tint laws here in PA

    http://www.tinting-laws.com/pennsylvania/

other links I see also state the 70% and nothing allowed on the front windshield

I read somewhere else (maybe for a different state) that anything between the AS lines is illegal (there is an AS line with a down arrow and an AS line with an up arrow to show the region)
