    I'm surprised there wasn't a Supersnake on the list.

    I can see how it’s right up close to top. most trucks i have seen are governed at or around 100mph.(i know some of the silverado’s are governed at 98.) I was somewhere(not on a road) and got my truck up to 118 before i had let off the gas and started slowing down.

    TRD Tundra #1 even beat the SRT10, at least the X-Runner made the list and noticed that the Xtreme wasn't on the list!

    There's not much competition in the sport truck market... From that list there are maybe 2 or 3 that didn't make the list.

    It's a very limited market. I wouldn't say an X-Runner in stock form is fast and saying it's quick is still kind of a stretch.... Wonder why they didn't compare it to a TRD supercharged X-Runner while the Tundra get's the optional blower on the list.

    I wouldn't mind having a 90's 454 SS in my garage.

    Handling wise they were supposed to, But if the pavement isn't smooth the 350z will creep away then walk away on the straights.

    350Z= 287HP/274 at 3200 pounds
    X-Runner= 236/266 at 3700 pounds

    Cut & broke off some stuff.
    My Colorado would kill power at 98 mph even though it felt like there was plenty of pull left in it. I think most GM have that limit. My prerunner can easily exceed 98.

    Yeah, why would an Xtreme be on the list? It isn't supposed to be anything more than eye candy. The 4.3L V6 only put out 180HP. The engineers wanted to put a SC on, but GM exec's said no. Too bad, it would have sold a lot more.

    Yeah, late in the 90's GM decided most of their cars and all of their trucks, except the SS would have a speed limit of 98. It can be programmed out obviously.

    The X will out handle the Z, it proves it on the skid pad! Straight line speed is a whole different department.
