I've been looking too, and there seems to be two styles of projector headlamps... so make sure you get the right ones. When you search eBay, take a close look at where everything is positioned. You'll notice that the projectors on socolax91's and mjp2's trucks are different than the ones on 2006nightrider's truck. I personally like the the projector placement on 2006nightrider's truck. It makes it look better when you put that TRex eyelid covers on there. Here are some projectors with 6000K HID's... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0150192060&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I can't decide! I'm glad some guys posted pics of their setups so I can see what they really look like. I just really wish there wasn't so much extra LED lighting going on with the whole assembly. It just makes it look like too much. This is why I'm a fan of the TRex eyelid covers, because it covered up most of the extra hooplah. I was really looking for that BMW headlight look, but the LED's make it too "ricey"... anyway, I'll probably just do the HID 6000K conversion with my stock headlights.

I totally agree. I wish there was just a simple black projector kit without all the racer stuff...Love the cutoff the BMW lights have. Thats is what I am wanting most of all...

    Lots.
The beam pattern is very similar to your 4 runners pattern actually.

I doubt it man... Aftermarket vs OEM, there's not much of a comparison. Just because they're projectors doesn't mean they'll be the same.. But then again to make a real legitimate comparison we've have to sat them side by side at night with the headlights aimed down the road and then compare..

OEM Projectors such as ones from a TSX, S2K, BMW, etc are going to have MUCH better quality than the ebay crap. The cutoff line is much sharper and the beam will be brighter on the OE projectors.

Has anyone actually tried to retrofit aftermarket projectors into the headlights of a Tacoma? When I black mine out I think I'll take a look and see how difficult it would be.
