Hi everyone! I am new to TW and just purchased my first Tacoma! My new baby is a 2012 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4. It currently has the stock 17in TRD Sport alloy wheels and P265/65R17 tires. It needs new tires, so I'm trying to decide what wheels and tires to buy. I am looking to add the biggest tires I can fit on stock TRD Sport suspension without any rubbing/issues.

I was thinking about 16x8 Mavericks and LT265/75R16 DuraTracs. Does anyone have any experience with this setup on stock suspension?

Or does anyone have any other black wheels and/or all-terrain tires that they would recommend? Also, if you have suggestions on where to find these wheels/tires, and who's the cheapest to install them, please let me know!

Thanks for all of the help! I really appreciate it! :)

That setup looks great! Are you on stock suspension? And did you have any problems rubbing?

Does anyone have any experience with these wheels, tires, the combo? I'm thinking about biting the bullet soon! I just want to make sure that they'll fit and that they won't rub anywhere. I have stock TRD Sport suspension. Thanks!

Bro better check don't think 16x8 will fit TRD SPORT you will need at least a 17" Rim Brake Caliper is bigger on the Sport then the OffRoad & SR5

It seems like people have been putting 16" wheels on Sports without issues but thanks for bringing that up.

I bit the bullet and bought 16x8 gunmetal MK6s with 0 offset! They're going on P265/75R16 Cooper Discoverer ATPs. After talking with a few Taco owners and some people at DTD, I don't think I'll have any problems. Only possible issue I foresee is rubbing on the front flaps (small/large ones) in reverse at full lock over a bump. If this happens, I'll just remove the flaps and call it a day.

    Here's the ones I purchased:

    http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/tires/cooper/product/submitProductSize.do?pc=11803&tmn=Discoverer+ATP&typ=Truck%2FSUV

Wheels: $450 OTD for four (including lug nuts and shipping after all discounts)
Tires: $384 OTD for four (including shipping after all discounts/rebates)
