That's a great bag! Congrats. A buddy of mine has had one for awhile and they're sweet, if not a little heavy and a little pricey. Holiday sale definitely the way to snag it. I went to REI 3 times last week and surprisingly all I bought was a pair of Snow Peak Hot Lips and another pair of Ex-Officio synthetic boxers.

Highly recommend both, should anybody else be curious about them.

Took what I could get and got the color they had was the red/grey figured a bright color might actually help me at some point.

Good choice, I think. That black/grey looks kinda fugly.

Where are you hiking in your area? Crowder's Mountain was awesome when I was there.

No, maybe I should've. But REI's having a big sale coming up, I'm hoping maybe they'll be on sale then.

Any reason you want the Sawyer Squeeze over their inline filter?

Love my Bio-Lite, even taking the charging ability out it is one of the best stoves I've used. Only thing it needs is a cover for the grille. I would love to keep the heat contained more.

Slowly converting my bed into a sleeping area. Really need to fix my rear camper window before I can do much more though...

Want to get my rear bumper built so I can finish my roof rack and start installing additional items like an awning.

How do you like that REI tent, Mateo? Is that the Kingdom 4?

It's the 6. We love it. However, these photos were from our weekend trip up to the Gunflint in north MN a few weekends ago when temps dropped to 35. It's so big and well ventilated that it didn't warm up like a smaller tent would. My wife and I each have our own REI comfort cot. Not romantic but comfy and uninterrupted night. Good times.I'm a gear guy too. I look forward to seeing more lists here.

We got ours for 30 or 35% off during REI's Labor Day clearance sale. I expect them to have a similar deal for Black Friday. Get the Connect Tech Garage as well. The footprint is worth it because of the pole gussets. I was a tarp guy until I got the footprint during the sale.

My lower back is wrecked so being able to stand up straight for dressing etc is nice. I'm 6'1". Love the tent.

Also, check out the Streamlight Seige lantern. Amazing.

Definitely waiting for a sale (and more of a need!), the normal price is way more than I can justify on a tent. Currently we squeeze myself and my fiance and our 60 lb dog into our Half Dome 2 Plus backpacking tent. Is there room for 2 adults, a dog, and a young kid in the Kingdom 6?

That lantern is pretty damn impressive, and the price is about half what I figured it would be watching that video. Thanks for that, I'm definitely going to pick one up (or 2).
