Dunno if you've been to the Hodge Twins' store, but they've got some pretty good ones, too:

What cardio do y'all do when bulking? I'm usually anti-cardio, but I wanna do more for cardiovascular health. I'm not trying to do anything that's gonna fuck up my caloric surplus aka I want to do as little as possible. I'm thinking maybe 30 mins LISS post-workout twice a week. I already do the occasional post-workout tabata, but I wanna start implementing something more concrete so my high-sodium, IIFYM, weekend alcoholic lifestyle doesn't kill me.

When I wasnt doing any running or biking I would get on the row machine and crank out 1000-2000 meters. Pretty legit workout and will get your cadio in at the same time.

Also, for anyone who may get the wrong idea, let me reiterate that this is not for fat loss or to burn calories, but simply to exercise my heart

I thought about lifting faster, but I like to rest more so I can keep lifting the heavy weight and focus more on form. Pre-workout HIIT sounds good. I could do mix that with post-workout LISS (on different days, of course) and get the best of both.

No row machine at our gym :pout:

The wife is competing again in 5 weeks, so its a ketogenic diet during the week, with carb loading on the weekends. Shes around 9% and targeting 6%. Me I'm pushing past really stubborn bodyfat, trying to get lean. We are doing our usual lifting heavy, doing legs EOD (but split quads/calves, hamstrings/glutes/calves), hour long mtb rides and she is doing a track workout Saturday mornings. Its going to be a brutal several weeks.
