I put 285s on mine. Check my build thread for pics.

Not bad. Stiff would be a more accurate word.

If you're not off roading the AAL might be a better option for you but it'll sag pretty bad.

Sag meaning if you load the bed it will drop into the suspension very quickly...
wheelers had the timbren load assist which works kinda like an airbag. You can keep the rear suspension very soft and compliant, then with load these rubber supports help assist the springs

I have no experience with this sooooo

I just finished putting in 5100s to lift the front a lil. I did the .85 spot and wheels with 4.5 backspacing. With 285/75/16 I rub a little, but I haven't tried removing the mudflaps yet

I have a 150 tonneau cover and that's all it took to sag. I installed the AAL around 55xx miles and at 85xx I swapped in the dakars. And I have no additional weight in the bed

The timbrens are bumpstops that assist the shock from bottoming out thus destroying the shocks.

No. The bumpstops prevent damage to the shocks. You want bumpstops.

They are much taller and have more give than normal bump stops.

They come into contact with the leaf spring much earlier than normal bump stops would and assist the leaf springs in handling the load.

Watch this little video, its easier than explaining
