Not much in the lower mainland. If you want to run trails go to Sylvester Road there's tons and tons to explore there and if you just want to play in the mud go to Stave lake.

When I am home from work I usually go explore around stave lake, I am thinking of doing the harrison-pemberton FSR one of these days as well since I start working up at the north end of harrison lake next week.

If anyones looking to go wheeling around anywhere lower mainland/fraser valley or up in squamish PM me.

Head up the Sea To Sky. In order from closest to farthest

Furry Creek FSR - in and out, short

Britannia FSR - Loops back around to just north of furry creek

Mamquam River FSR - Long way in before any good stuff but lots and lots of spurs to explore

Indian River Road - less decommissioned than a few years ago

Squamish River FSR - long, really long. lots to explore, neat stuff to find too

Ashlu FSR - beautiful river, spectacular lime stone canyon and waterfalls

Cat Lake - to brohm ridge - gets you into the alpine

Tantalus Lookout, North Side - doesnt look like anything but is awesome to explore up to brohm ridge.

Chek Canyon - access to brohm ridge alpine

Chance Creek FSR - awesome exploring, lots of lakes, you can drive all the way to the top of the mountain.

Another good spot is Chipmunk FSR.

You go along Chilliwack lake road and take a left when you see the sign.

Me and my buddy went up the "Baby Munday" trail and we went up for probably a solid hour and a half and we didn't reach the top. There were tons of other side roads and spots to play in some mud. We started early and explored until it got dark and we still had places to go.

Looking on google earth now it looks like one road goes entirely over Mt. Mercer.

If your going to Harrison check out Hale Creek. It's on the west side of the lake and it's a wicked trail.

Bought a gate key from the city for the eagle mountain trail in coquitlam, quite the rock climb, I think im going to pick up some rock sliders before I give it another go and do the yellow wire mod, looks like it will be alot of 4Lo. The gates to the power line project right by the trail head was open so I went bombing around there instead.

Cool some more trail talk in here. Ya what was said above for trail, there's lots in Chilliwack, up stave theres trails and lots up Sylvester too.

Pick up a bc backroad mapbook has every trail listed

Eagle is a little more challenging, especially lately now that they pushed most of the loose rock down the cliff on gate keeper. With a good spot, sliders, 33's and a rear locker its doable but can turn ugly with a bad spot or slip.

Check out BC Toyota 4wd group on Facebook if your looking to do a run or more trail questions

I know it's a bit of an old thread but wondering if you ever did the Harrison to Pemberton FSR. We went up to 20 mile bay a couple of weekends ago camping which is up that road approx. halfway between the Lougheed highway turn off and Port Douglas. Took us a good hour to get from the Lougheed to the campsite.

I love taking that road have never been past port douglas though, lots of great camping along some of the lakes up in that direction and not alot of familes from town willing to bring up there 30' plus trailers up with them.
