I saw that story last night. Kind of sad. It doesn't sound like they were buried in the avalanche since they found them so fast with the helicopter.

Yeah man, sucks... JP has always been one of my favorite skiers. Always looked up to him and was inspired by him.

In other news, looking like there will be an El Nino this year. Late and weak. But I'll take what I can get.

I just bought my big Epic Pass as well. I can't wait to go ski!

I am right there with you. I keep reading reports on the internet and it is hard to get an accurate prediction on what is going to happen.
    Those days are the best!

Well this will be my first year going up without my Tacoma, and in a FWD car :( Hopefully it will be the only year though, as I am looking to get something different for the 2015-2016 winter. It is definitely nice to see though that this thread is still alive. If any of you guys want to plan trips I'm in. I just want to ski as much as possible this year.

Is anyone going to see the new Warren Miller Film in Sac at the end of this month?

    Yes to Warren Miller.

No more Taco?! I just read your info under your username... I'm a VW/Audi guy myself. Let me know if you need/want anything done with VCDS. I have the Ross-tech cable and can change lighting and door lock settings.

Nice! Which day are you going? yeah.... I got rid of it mainly because of gas and it was my daily driver. What do you have? And I am reading up on the VCDS but not entirely sure what it is....

VCDS is the software that allows you to do everything the dealer can.

Not sure what day I'm going yet.

Thanks! I wish I didn't love it so much or I'd take it to the mountains. I only drove it out there once last winter. It's APR tuned with a high flow cat on summer tires though..... So it's terrible in the snow.

My in laws after trying to buy two other places are finally in escrow on a 4 bedroom 3 bath in incline village. It's going to be a 45 day escrow and there going to spend a month remodeling but it's going to be an awesome winter. Can't wait to have a place to stay in tahoe for free. Let it snow....

Awesome. Sounds like we need to do a few Northstar trips.

Incline Village is a great area to stay. Had a family friend who lived there and it was awesome. Congrats!

They were telling me they get passes to the beach there for incline residents only. They also get season passes at the local small ski resort for like 35 bucks plus a bunch of discounts around town. Sounds awesome. I like the idea of a small resort like a mile away incase I just want to ski for an hour or something and dont want to drive over to northstar. I am super stoked.
