Just put a deposit on a motor with 102k on it for $700. It comes with a 90 day warranty as well. I am definitely glad I waited and got a motor with 167k less miles for $200 more. They are going to have it pulled by tomorrow or Saturday, told them I had to have it by this weekend.

Found 3 good sites in my search
    - Row52.com which has a listed vehicles at salvage yards
    - hollanderparts.com is good for finding for sale parts
    - MyPartShop.com is seems to be a subsidary of Hollander but is where I found my engine, wasn't on the other site for some reason.

If you know a broker, copart.com is a good site to find salvage trucks for cheap.

Got the swap finished today aaaaaand the starter actuator doesn't engage. It's newer and still under warranty and the guy I got it from said I can use his number to get it replaced.

Will do that tomorrow and hopefully I will be driving a Tacoma tomorrow.

Side note: the tranny fluid was pretty brown. Usually tranny fluid is red. Do you guys think it needs changed then?

She runs! Started up pretty easily and had some ugly knocking at first but it went away in 5 seconds or so. Everything seems to be doing OK but I have a few problems.

    - Brake light in dash is on for some reason.
    - Tire has a broken belt so I get hell of a vibration, easy fix as it needed new tires anyways.
    - Tranny is leaking fluid. There is a line that is leaking by the exhaust that is hard to get a wrench on. Will have to try tightening it when the pipe is cooled off.

Having trouble fixing this leak. It is in a spot I can not get a wrench on very well. How do you guys think I should go about fixing it. I think it is one of the tranny cooler lines.
