ok, so you want to play....

i simply suggested the OP look into them, nothing wrong with that. not everyone is an awesome of an offroader as you and need ext travel UCAs for all the crazy dirt eating you do w/ your truck... some just need to correct an alignment. when you read good things about a product, you can suggest it if it makes sense to you, which the LR's do to me. any responsible buyer will investigate a product themselves before they buy to see if it fits his needs.

just because i have no first hand experience with something, doesnt mean that i cannot give advice in it. the form and function of UCAs are built on basic principles, which i understand, therefore i can give advice.

go play mod on TN you crazy offroader that knows all, we here on TW will never be worthy....:violent:

With all due respect, have you installed and ran LR UCA's on your truck? A little pot calling the kettle black maybe? ;)

I'm going to test out the LR UCA's and report back with some photos. Unfortunately it won't be any time soon as I'm off for a cross country business trip. I'm really interested to see just how capable they are and what their limits are.

In the meantime... you guys be nice to each other. PEACE!

Well I feel pretty lucky because the initial GB was $424.95 SHIPPED when I got mine! Also, I spend 99% of the time on the road so I should be man enough to throw that one out there.

X2. Yosh2000 was simply giving some input, and accurate at that, as I too have seen Camburg arms not correct for caster. Many Camburg arms in the past have plauged people with issues of not being able to correct the alignment. Seems the newer Camburgs do correct for it. Keep it civil guys.

oh, so your one of those to....ironic!!

like i said, i was simply trying to state that the LR arms MIGHT be a good option for the OP, not that they were THE option...and i have stated multiple times in this thread that the LRs are good for people that spend nearly all their time on the street, did you miss that in my multiple replies?

someone would pay nearly $500 for a product if it satisfies their need. why buy the $700 arms when the $500 arms will do the all that you need...just because something is more money, doesnt mean the cheaper option wont completely satisfy the need.

hey, here is another personal experience of the camburgs not correcting alignment...
has camburg modded their recent arms to correct this?

you mean $220...why stop there..if this is the case, why do people settle for the TCs when the Icons are only a little more...i mean they are more expensive, so they must be better...right?

im done w/ this thread, the OP has selected his arms (a good choice i might add) which is great, and some here dont read my replies and therefore try to argue, yet say the exact same thing i am...

awww, but it was just getting good...

anyways, my camburg UCA's correct my alignment just fine. and i agree w/ the fact that for $200 more the uni ball is well worth it but for the extra $400+ for the Icon w/ their solid billet, dust cover, and heims...not so much but still a great product.

BTW speaking of ball joint UCA's and Camburg have you guys seen these?

I've seen them. Seems like a good alternative. I heard of some folkes useing Moog Ball Joints, instead of the OEM ones.

i just ran across them the other day. i had no idea that camburg was making these. dont know anybody running them but i'll bet they are a good product based on the quality of other camburg products.

Your not the only one. I have the same setup up front as BeachBoy yet my UCA's hit my Coilovers at full droop as in your case.

My alignment specs are... I don't think I'm running a full 3" lift, I think I'm at like 2-2.5" somewhere in there. Don't have stock center of hub to fender measurements so I do not know what my actual lift height is.

    Left Right
    Camber 0.1 0.0
    Caster 1.9 2.2
    Toe 0.05 0.04

say your running a 3" lift with either the camburg or total chaos, how much numerically does it change the suspension travel up or down?

Doesn't change the ride height. Suspension travel, with the right coilovers, can potentially improve as the uniball joint will allow more movement before binding.

The Camburg 1.25" uniball will allow up to 10.5" of wheel travel when running RaceRunner coilovers, but you'll have to remove your bumpstop to get those numbers.

Im not so sure about the 1.25" uniball offering more than the 1" versions.....Seems the 1.25" Uni. hits the spring before the 1" ones do......
