Ok so after doing some searching I'm really kinda confused as to what i need to do.

    I have a 2011 JBL/XM radio in my truck.
    I am upgrading to a 2014 NAV/JBL/XM.

    What wires do i need?

Ive searched a lot and can't seem to find a 2014JBL to a old pre2012 JBL. I am confused because it looks like the 2014 wires changed from the 2013 wires and all the treads are about 2013 conversions......

This is the 2011 JBL radio from my truck.

This is the 2014 JBL/NAV radio that i am getting.

    Thank you for your help.

    :turtleride:

So I bought a 20/ 28 pin adapter, usb, antenna adapter and nav antenna.

But that doesnt solve my issue with the jbl speaker/amp plug changing. Any ideas?

The 2014 JBL units use the non jbl harnesses (idk why Toyota decided to change that now this past year...)
It's gonna be a pain to wire it all up from a jbl to non jbls plugs...(idk where to start either)

    Dang lol.

Well I ordered a jbl integration harness from fleabay that I guess is for jbl trucks running after market head units.
Along with the male connection s that would fit into the 2014 head.

Looks like im making a custom harness. You know where I could get wire diagrams for a 2011 and 2014?

I was thinking of the same radio you just bought but having to change and re-pin the connectors are a lot of work. You may be able to get sample connectors from TE.COM. As far as which connectors, you have to match by picture. Hope that harness works out. Keep your thread updated to let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Well I can get the radio to power on and the navigation to locate pretty quickly but I cant get the damn sound to work.

For some funny reason on the TIS site toyota neglected to put up a wire / pin identification for the amplifier and jbl radios for the 2014 and 2015...
I assume now that since the jbl connection changed to the non jbl connects at the radio side of the plugs, that they also changed the amp plugs too.

Spent about 7 hours dicking with this today.
