hey guys does anyone make a bed rack that can go over a soft topper for a DCSB? i plan on getting a RTT and want it to mount over the soft topper instead of the roof.

I have seen the one soft topper offers and they dont look all that great i mean i may be wrong but i just dont think i would be confident with weight of two adults and a RTT on those bars. plus they sit like 6-8 inches above the soft topper which is insane to me

Rackit in Shingle Springs, Ca makes all sorts of racks at a fair price. I know they make ones to work with a hard shell so might also work with a soft shell. Also they will make specials for folks. Worth a look www.rackitinc.com and talk with Robert.

Rackit will also make their cap racks out of Alu, which is a huge weight savings. My Rackit rack is the Alu cap model and I could lift the entire rack myself, it is well under 100 pounds. I am not sure how the Soft Topper mounts, so there is a chance that the Rackit rack bed mounts may interfere.

thats a nice design but not really looking for a ladder rack mainly something just strictly goes over the bed not the roof i already have a roof rack

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Contact Eddy over at SOS Concepts (Vendor on here). He makes a beefy bed rack for the soft toppers. Price is good and it is beefy!
