So a buddy of mine works at Town fair tire and got me his price on Rims and tires. So I ordered 17x9 fuel krank rims and 295/70/17 mastercraft courser axts... well what arrived was 295/17 mastercraft courser MTX.s and they put the blame on me by saying this is all they had in 295/70 so we order them . Clearly they didn't realize they were the mud terain models. Then they wanted to tell me if I want to switch I have to pay 15% restocking fee and 25$ per tire to have it shipped back . I almost blew a gasket aftee I paid 2 grand for rims and tires! AnAnd they govthem wrong! .. So mtx are on there now .

I will post pics .truck looks sick tho

What did your paper work say, when you order them. If your paper work shows you ordered axts then it is on them for ordering the wrong ones.

Well called and they have a 30 day period that you csn drive around and if you don't like the tires they wi replace them no questions asked.. apparently they didn't tell me this there and wanted to squeeze over 200 more $ out of my pocket.

Which tires are on the original bill of sale? If it's the ATs then you're in the right. If they won't comply for FREE, threaten with a lawsuit. I hate advocating the litigous approach but I hate innocent people being screwed even more.

How does your buddy feel about this? This is exactly why I don't do these sorts of deals with friends.. If someone hooks you up with a solid like that be sure it's 100% right before starting a bitchfest over it.. I'll bet he's thinking twice about his decision to help out. :(

Those are sick tires. I would consider it a favourable error.
