Took the truck in today to get the fuck ups fixed. They painted the cross-member and touched up the hoist areas but left more scabs from having it up on the hoist again! They're just in a slightly different position! Unbelievable. This will be my third visit. Not sure if I should take it do a different dealer though or just tell them to coat the whole damn thing again so they can't miss anything... This shouldn't be so difficult, even corporate told me they're supposed to paint those spots after putting the truck on the ground again.

Can other people post up some pics as well? I'd like to compare the quality of work.

So its the " latest greatest technology"? It all seems like bs to me.

Regular spraying of the under carraige has gotten me this far. Unless i am missing some hidden area, my frame has typical surface rust for these parts.

The more i read through posts and opinions the more i question the legitimacy of rust proofing at all. What a PITA

I use their Rust Cure Formula 3000 on tools , outside gear and more recently my truck , shit works and was the product selected by the Canadian Armed Forces for their vehicles

Took me three visits but the job is finally "done." Get a free oil change in the future as compensation. Still skeptical on the quality of the whole thing...

If you're about to take yours in, request that the tech with the most experience on this recall does your truck so that you don't have to keep revisiting them when the new guy misses a bunch of spots. The protocol states that they're supposed to touch up the spots left over from the truck being on the hoist once it's back on the ground so double-check that they've done that as well.

Here's a pic of the motor mounts. Does anyone have a pic of a 05 frame that hasn't been replaced so we can compare. If so please post to see if they corrected the failing motor mount issues

So I brought my truck in on Tuesday just after thanks giving. Got a call today on Friday the 17th. It's already had its frame swapped and is waiting for me to pick up the truck tomorrow morning. I was surprised how fast it was. I will upload a pic of the new frame and truck put together tomorrow. I hope everyone has had the same luck as me with this situation.

This thread seems dead lol. Anyways my truck feels amazing. Everything is new. It even sits about 1 inch or so higher (I'm sure it will lower abit while after everything settles in) . They replaced my lower control arms, rear leafs, rear shocks, Spair tire carrier and of course the frame with all its little bushing and whatnot. I only thought I was getting a new frame! Truck rides likes its brand new now. Although they told me that one of the caliplers is seized lol. O well I'll take of that on my own. Should be getting an icon lift soon so pretty much everything under the truck will be brand new !! And it's an 05. Ha! THANKS TOYOTA !

I didn't have crc done. I had my hole frame swapped. ... But I am in the GTA area. Kenshaw toyota and Lexus on St Clair (just west of weston road). Replaced my frame very simple, easy and fast. I was surprised to see how big the dealership was. With my experience thier I would give them a call or stop buy. They we're also replacing another trucks frame when mine was in. Give them a try.

Had mine inspected in August, still no CRC kit to apply to frame.

I've called dealer few times to make sure, and nothing.
