On the behalf of the Tin Benders, I would like to invite you to this year’s Tin Bender Jamboree. As most of you know we are a small, tight nit group of people, from all walks of life, that share a common interest in four wheeling. In the past, our love for the trail has driven us to raise money to support fair land use and educating individuals on trail etiquette. All proceeds from past fundraisers have gone to support keeping our trails open. Donations have been made to Rubicon Trail Foundation, Blue Ribbon Coalition, and the Friends of Panamint Valley. Typically our biggest fundraiser is the Tin Bender Jamboree held in Johnson Valley and this year we want to do things a little different.
Last Year, out at King of the Hammers, Robert ran into the guys from 4 Wheel to heal and they made a lasting impression on him. Later that night, amidst the thrashing wrenches and smell of race gas, a conversation started about our veterans. After several adult beverages, the conclusion was that there isn’t a single member of our organization whose life isn’t directly affected by a veteran. Either through a family relation or through personal combat experience, every one of our lives has been touched by a Vet. Raising a little money and some awareness for an organization, such as 4W2H, whose goal is helping our warriors, seems like a great idea. Please come on down to Johnson valley for this year’s Tin Bender Jamboree on 15 NOV 14 and give us a hand raising money to help support 4W2H
As always, we will have organized trail runs for all vehicle set ups and Dinner on Saturday evening which will be followed by an awesome raffle!

You don't actually have to wheel your mall crawler to win stuff at the raffle either! :brianr:

This years event will be a little different than years passed. There will be a full body friendly trail run along with the usually runs. The hammers isn't all "hardcore wheeling" there are quite a few interesting and scenic trails that won't tear up your daily driver.

A big thank you to all of the sponsors listed on the final tee shirt design. Without them events like this would not be possible.

FYI, There are close to $10k worth of raffle prizes. You sign up for a trail run, you get a ticket. One ticket. There are usually enough prizes there that, just like your special Ed teacher taught you, everyone gets a trophy. Not only that but benders don't get raffle prizes. We don't pull that bullshit where the people putting on the event win prizes. Money raised goes to 4wheel 2 Heal.

Happy Veterans day and I will see you out there! Registration is now closed on the web site but you can still get register in person on the lakebed.

Remember, no glass bottles on BLM land, don't burn anything with nails in it and please leave your fireworks at home. For one, they are illegal and two, there is going to be quite a few sketchy ass combat veterans out there, myself included, that do not react well with unannounced explosions or the smell of Chinese propellants burning. Don't forget to bring a little cash for swag!
