It's like talking to a brick wall. If she was winning everyone would be saying it wasn't her driving that won, but the equipment she had, or the crew chief. She is only in her SECOND year. she is not a Veteran like JR, JJ, and Harvick. Give her some time. Her average finish spot is 5 better than last year. That is called improvement.

Ryan Newman had 9 wins by the end of his SECOND season, Jimmie Johnson had 6. And Jimmie, like Danica, came from a completely different discipline of racing: dirt trucks. So the "only her xx year in stock cars" excuse goes out the window.

When she can run in the top 10 consistently on any track that doesn't require a restrictor plate, I'll be more than happy to give her due credit. Until then, she will be a marketing ploy designed to bring in the oh-so-coveted female demographic.

The King said it best: "If her first name was Daniel, we would have never heard of her".

Danica's average finish from 2013-2014 + 10 races from 2012 is 25th; Dale Jr's is 16.5 for his career, you have 3 tiers of drivers, those in tier 1 are hall of famers like JJ, harvick, K. Busch, etc who average finish of 15th or so, then tier 2 who are great drivers, some hall of famers and some very consistent drivers like Clint bowyer, Truex jr, Dale Jr, , then tier 3 where you have talented drivers in small cup teams like Allmendinger or average drivers in average or above teams like Danica, austin Dillon, Aric almirola. She has one of the worst average finishes of what I consider a tier 3 driver.

You know. I think you guys are finally going to do what you have wanted to the entire time. I really do get tired of day in and day out showing that she can be a competitive driver. I have never once said she was going to be as good as JJ or Harvick. I have simply said she is a good driver, and can be competitive, and she has shown that. You all don't want to accept it, even when the drivers on the track that race with her every weekend have accepted her. You just are pissed because she gets a lot of hype. Everything different will get a lot of hype, that is how the world works. I seriously do believe though that you all just don't like her because she is a woman in a man dominated sport, and she is making headlines. As for this comment of "Until then, she will be a marketing ploy designed to bring in the oh-so-coveted female demographic." You obviously have not been following NASCAR for very long. Women have made up 40% of the NASCAR fan base since before Danica got into a driver seat. But to each his own. This has gotten tiring because all you do is find one reason or another to bash Danica. You all won't accept her if she has 3 or 4 championships, because she is a girl. So congratulations, you get what you want. I won't talk about her any more, because to be honest, it does get tiring. So enjoy the rest of the season. I'm just tired of the headaches. I am out.

There have been 16 female drivers in NASCAR sprint cup series and 18 in nationwide, didn't know that, always thought of 4-5. Danica is in top 3 of women drivers as far as best finishes and only one with a pole. I wonder what it was like in 1950 racing against a woman, and she finishes 5th? Kinda cool.

I just call it like I see it. Rarely has a driver done so little with so much. If not being excited for Danica's every top 20 makes me a misogynist, then so be it.

I'm totally not going to point out the fact that Danica has yet another different crew chief, with possibly another lined up for next season. Nope, not me. Not gonna do it.

Week late for June Bug. Oh well. Glad to see he was still so up beat about it.
