    Trail Gear 1/4 steel weld on. It's a nice piece, and cheap too $41.

    Does it have a drain hole on the bottom? Would hate to have it collect water.

    It does have drain holes. Two triangle slits where it's bent at the bottom.

    i dont think it even wraps around the bottom does it?

    It doesn't, no loss in ground clearance.

    if it doesnt wrap around the bottom how is this a skid? seeing as the bottom is the first thing to hit?

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    It's more like a bash plate to protect the thinnest part of your housing. The under side is thick so you don't have to worry as much. I ran the BTF on my stock axle and it saved my ass countless times.
