What's the difference between the eibachs and the wheelers etc... Also anyone know the part number for the best eibach spring to go with 5100

How much front lift did you get with the eibachs and also what tire size do you run

    Wheelers is a company.

I think you mean what is the difference between OME and Eibach?

To tell you the truth i really dont know. People like putting eibachs with bilstein and OME with OME. Ive heard of some people who mixed OME and Bilstein and something broke but honestly i cant remember. I think you would be fine either way.

But i agree, if you were to go with OME i would keep OME coils with OME shocks.

EDIT: Eibachs with bilstein give about 2.5-3 inches of lift.

Yupp, that's what I would do. I was just giving options, but it was probably more confusing in the end haha.

The eibach coils designed to pair with the 5100's give an average of 1.6" lift. I have my 5100's set at the second lowest setting which preloads the coil .85" . In the end I measured damn near 3" of total front lift. I run dakar leaf springs and run 285 70r17

Edit : never mind, this is a 1st gen thread. Sorry for wasteing your time, I am a 2nd gen guy.

no. the spring in the kit is a flat top and bottom. you have a flat top round bottom.

edit: actually that's the trend of most high end coilovers, I'm not sure about these.

so I have a 3 leaf aal that says it gives 1.5" lift. (Wheelers progressive) If I install that and the eibach coil on 5100 front and back.. Will I be level?

Toytec is the one that makes that kit I believe so contact them and see if they can split up a kit for you since you already have the springs..

Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
I have eibachs and love them but I have a nice fairly heavy front bumper. If you have no plans of putting on a front bumper and or winch I would look into OME in your case. Eibachs are great springs but need a little extra weight up front IMO.

You will have a slight lean with that setup. My 3 leaf aal only got me 1 inch of lift but I took out the overload. If you leave your factory overload leaf in place and put the aal in you should get about 2-2.5 inches lift. That way it'll match the lift in the front and you should be level.

Cool. Thanks everyone for the info. A little confusing because of opinions. I'm going with the 5100 shocks I already have and ordering some Toytec/Eibach coil overs in the front and adding a wheelers 1.5" 3 leaf progressive aal. The back sits higher than the front quite a bit so I hope this fixes my prob and doesn't give me any worse rake than I already have.

Wish I could find the adjustable coil collar by itself or from a different maker than toytec

Toytec/Eibach spring and 5100 shock. Also 1.5" 3leaf aal in rear with 5100 shock.. Anyone running this setup or have any pictures or suggestions about it.
