Haha, not true. Ive had 4 guys in my Supra a number of times. Tight squeeze because I was driving. But it would be easier in an auto. Roof was off though.

I see a lot more 4 doors than AC but that does not make me want one.

I wish the compact trucks were still available. I ordered a DCLB that is just a day or two away. I figure that once I've confirmed that the DC was unnecessary, my next taco will be an AC esp since regular cabs have been dropped. I require the longbed and since I occassionaly have full grown passengers, I bought the DC.

When youre young and cool, you drive an AC. When you get old, and dont want to admit that you need a minivan, you buy a double cab.:p

    -no little sh*ts
-need space for crap behind seats
-no bed size issues, one only
    -turd locker FTW!!!

I might have gotten a DCLB but without a locker it's useless to me, I have
a cabin up a big hill on a bony skidder road and I am not gonna walk it when I am
    carrying a half-dozen of anything

In 2013, Toyota sold ~265,000 Tundras and Tacomas in the U.S. Add Canada, and another ~18,000 units together. 2014 numbers look to be very similar.

Goodcarbadcar.com has all this info at your fingertips.

Just-in-time inventory makes better business, keeps prices tight. When other automakers have 6-12 months of product on dealer lots for a particular model, they are not doing themselves any favors. Chrysler is guilty of that.

Yes I see many, many more DCs than ACs in my area but still a good number of ACs.
I bought an AC because I need to lock up gear securely (can't put a cap on the bed because I haul dirt bikes). Sometimes I need to recline the seat to sleep in the truck which is not possible in a single cab. Also I am hopeful to start a family soon and the AC works great with baby seats in the back.

The storage areas under the jumper seats are half the size they should be. How could they possibly waste so much space in there? It's just weird, even for Toyota.

You are wise beyond your years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep in mind,, many of these posts are "Tongue-in-cheek" (most jerks drive vehicles other than Tacoma's) Tacoma owners can "pick" on one-another, Be it Access Cab or Double Cab,,, we are the "Brotherhood"!!!!
