So am I. They are my favorite tire so far. Ive had duratracs and maxxis big horns and now the stt's.

Grip on rocks is awesome. I usually avoid mud but I haven't been let down anytime I've had to go through it. They feel great aired down. They look awesome. Not super heavy compared to other tires out there. Good on wet roads. Seem to be holding up really well.

Haven't had them on snow or ice yet.

Can someone post pics of their fender flares how they are attached etc after cutting I somehow managed to pick up a lovely nail type/ stud through my sidewall and no one around here will patch or attempt repair so I am going to go ahead and order my 35's. I was going to wait until egcs could do my regear after the first of the year but I guess time had better plans.

I attached them using the factory clips with some zip ties on the ends through some L shaped plastic bracings I jb welded on.

I used the same process for the plastic too and it worked fine. I think some people use electric shears but I didn't have any so I made do with the dremel.

I'm thinking about finally pulling the trigger and puttin on 35s. My question is... will a 315/70/17 with 4.75 backspacing protrude?

I like the look of an aggressive stance with the tired protruding out of the fenders. Kind of like Defcon's look, but without long travel

Anyone got a picture of what it looks like?

The issue isn't the cutting...I would do it in a heartbeat, but our States lame rules on tires sticking out pass the fender edge. Hawaii has the lamest rules called "Reconstruction Rules" in the nation. Can't do this and ya can't do that... You need two sets of everything, so you can switch between on and off-road here. It's enough to drive you to leave the state, but I have a great job and can't let go. It's a dilemma from Hell... So yeah...FML...lol

our island isn't as strict as the island he lives on, but I've gotten hit for wide tires and no mud flaps before. $72 each tire and $72 each no mud flap. my brother got no mud flap tickets on his stock dodge ram with stock tires.
this would be about $600 in tickets right here….
