so i went out and got some quotes today. maaco quoted me $350 for a base/clear to match to the truck, rhino liner also quoted me $350 to rhino line with the uv protection. what would you pick?

I think it kind of looks okay the way it is! Rhino liner is black and would hold up well to dings and scratching, would look cool too.. That's my two cents!

$350 for base and clear is cheap. i dont know about maaco in the states but in canada its a cheap low quality repair.

at that price everything is getting masked off. when i painted my canopy at my shop i pull all glass and removed everything. takes more time and would cost more for labour but better end result.

i would bedline it. i got a free canopy thats the wrong color and im gona spray it with raptorliner.

did my flares, lower doors and boxside and its held up great for the last 3 years.

:D plastiderp... but for real, either way would look nice. A black truck gives you those kind of options lol. If you turn it into a real trail rig, the bedliner would really hold up well to the brush scratches from the branches up high and what not. Plus it would look badass

I had a white topper for about a year until I found a guy with a black one on his white taco. We traded straight across. Two happy dudes and no extra money spent. Rock your unique combo for a bit and see what happens, unless you have money that's growing mold and needs to be spent...

Edit: I think that combo looks pretty good. What tire size/ lift, I like it.

Here's a funny update to the 9yo thread. Topper was painted bsp to match the truck. Kept it for 2 years and sold it to a guy on Craigslist with a silver taco lol. Then bought another one on Craigslist but it was blue and I left it blue until the truck was totaled last year.
