ok so im looking for a 3'' lift and im kinda set on the bilstein 5100s. my question is : would it be better to just get them for the front and then add a leaf in the rear or just do the 5100s all around? and if so is that all i will need for the complete lift? i read through the suspension thread n it seems like this is the best way to go about it if you dont wanna spend a good chunk. any feedback would be great thanks guys.

The 5100's dont give you any lift in the rear, only the front, and the highest you can set them is 2.5" in the front. Most people do the 5100's up front at 2.5" (stock springs) and then a 1.5" or 2" AAL in the rear to match it. 5100 shocks in the rear arent necessary but will help the ride a lot.

I have 5100's all around, 1.5" AAL's in the rear on TSB springs and then OME 884 coils up front for lift (5100's set at .85")

If you can follow along so far you should be good. If none of this makes sense then you might wanna spend some time reading the threads, tons of info on here.

Go with 5100s all around. I went with 885 coils to do the liftingi, instead of the Shocks to lift the truck. If you go that route you need 1.5 block or Add a leaf to get the lift in the rear to even out the truck. Add a leaf is better route to go but the Block is just so dam easy to install. I think its worth it to get bigger coils. IMO. My truck is lifted almost 4 inches and drives beautiful with that setup.
