Hey guys. Just ordered the 5100's. I reallly wanna fit 285 70-16 nitto trail grapplers in it. I know I'm gonna have to do some trimming, but do you think I'll have to do a CMC on the highest 5100 setting? I have Kmc hoss wheels at 0 offset and 4.5 bs. If I can't fit them without the CMC, I'm probably gonna go down to 265 wrangler mt/r's. Also, would 285/70 have a better chance of fitting than 285/75? Or is it strictly tire width?

I'm not looking to go 285/75. Just 285/70. So if I were to get the tires and 5100's put on, I should ask them to set the castor to 1.8? Or should I just ask them to adjust it so it doesn't hit the cab mount? I definitely want an alignment because my truck shakes like crazy

Alright thanks a lot guys. Do you think the shop would do the chop and patch?

I'm from western PA. I go to PSU but that's all the farther east I go. But your patch does look good. My dad's a retired welder, so I figured I'd see if the shops would do it before I go filling his lungs up with smoke. haha

With that size tire and 2.5" of front lift you don't need to trim anything and you don't need a CMC. I ran that same tire, flexed fully while stuffed lock to lock and did not rub anywhere with 2.5" of front lift.

Let me edit this, I had 4.5" backspaced wheels, not OEM wheels.
    Different size tires...
