Ok, Ok, I know I've beaten this axle wrap issue to death. I have not yet purchased replacement springs either, so go easy on me!

Just wondering why my truck doesn't clunk, shimmy, shift around when I come to a stop in NEUTRAL. All other instances in DRIVE when I slow to a stop I get the notorious clunk. Curious if any others have experienced this?

Is it because the drivetrain is "unloaded" or what???

Got it. That makes sense, I've been in leaf spring denial. I'm just hoping that when I replace them it solves the issue... thanks.

6" Fabtech lift, warn winch, All Pro Baja front bumper, Oldman Emu rear Dakar leafs, Rear Bilstein 5150, Rear E-locker, ARB compressor, 33" TrXus road, 35" trail
Had a bit of the same, ended up being pinion flange nut was loose on rear carrier, rear U joint and probably didn't help that the leaf shackle bushings and frame leaf hanger bushings were shot, 1.5" deflection side to side when u bolts removed, put new OME Dakar 2.5" leafs with their poly urethane bushings, 2.5" shackle hanger new bushings, 3" block (total 7" rear lift) all new bolts, u bolt flip kit and lots of new grease, its like brand new just a bit firmer and NO clunks or bangs anymore.

    Haven't quite decided yet...

I was thinking of going with 5100's up front set at 2" and possibly stock replacement leaf packs and a AAL from General Springs and new rear shocks. Or, just getting the OME pack. I just don't want it sitting up too high in the rear.
As it sits, my rear springs are junk and my shocks have 123k on them. I'm on a budget like everyone else so when it comes time to do it, I want to make the best decision.
