Because most, or all, of these mods look cheap and out of place. They belong in a ricer forum.

I'm curious, name one mod(s) to you that's "ricer"?

Everyone have different taste on what they want to do with their truck. It's pretty much a low blow from you to call it a "ricer". Just sayin

I always wanted to paint my steering wheel trim black but was scared to dig into it with the airbag sitting there and everything. Plastidip might be the way to go. How is it holding up?

The extent of my own interior mods, done following one of the writeups for the GPS mount here on TW:[IMG]

And an extinguisher mounted in the cubby behind the rear passenger seat...no pics though.

    265/70 R16 BF Goodrich A/T's Plasti-dipped factory wheels More to come...soon
In my case the plasti-dip on my rims is holding up very well. Car washes, driving on gravel roads, it takes it pretty impressive. But I also think I'll have to redo it if I ever take my huncaps off... I'm betting the tool will peel it.
I painted my gauge rings and vent surrounds white too, it looks killer, thanks to TW for the idea.

Where did you get the temp guage and how hard of an install is it? I would love to add that to my truck since it freezes here a lot in Idaho

That overhead temp gauge was like I had on my old '05 DC. On my 2014 truck, I added the Gentex Autodim mirror with Compass, Outside Temp, and Homelink for opening the garage doors. Gentex makes the OEM one in the these trucks, but they don't offer the outside temp anymore (in the WTF Toyota category).

Simple to install and love it. The guy that makes the kit supplies the plug and play harness and ships quick:

    In my 2014 DC
-I had Katzkin installed throughout, also did the arm rests in the door panels.
-Got rid of the stupid rubber cup holder sleeves and replaced with the older style adjustable holder I had on my '05 that will fit a coffee cup or beer with koozy. (Was hunting this weekend, truck is full of sand and feathers)
-Got the center console and glove box organizers from a member on here. Helps sort that big bucket of a center console.
-Modified the dash blanks to put the seat heater switches in the lower dash.
-Added sound deadening (Hushmat, CCF, 3M Acoustic, and Mass Loaded Vinyl) to the whole cab and doors. Kept the stock head unit adding an Audison Bit 10 processor, 800W amp, and replaced the cheap stock speakers in the doors.
-Installed the Gentex Autodim mirror with compass, temp, and Homelink.
