    Alright... After a few calls to kobalt, I discovered you can special order the slimline wedge toolbox (61.5 length, 12. Width) in BLACK directly from lowes. They don't stock them anymore but they can special order them!!! Find someone that knows what they are doing. The newest book they had only went to the 2004 year model so my guy had to get online directly with kobalt and find the product number. And the easiest clamp system is the Leers camper clamp for the new tacoma.....the Bracket slips right into the rail. 7 bucks apiece.

    I went ahead and got the silver one because it was easily available and so inexpensive. I cleaned it with acetone, roughed it with sandpaper then used self-etching primer and flat black spray paint. image.jpg
