Get some new regular seats and throw one of these schweet homedics cushions under some seat covers.

    http://www.homedics.com/products/massage

Easier to install OEM stuff and custom one off final product.

The only seats that'll bolt into your Tacoma 'as is' are other Tacoma seats.

4Runner seats will only bolt up 3 out of 4 holes 'as is'. You'll have to do some tweaking / modding for the 4th hole.

Anything else (including other Toyota seats) will require significant fabrication to get the mount / base right for your Taco.

I don't recommend the Tacoma Limited seats. They're basically the base level buckets with an ineffective electric lumbar support.

If you really want heat, it might be helpful to know there are decent aftermarket heater units that can be installed on OEM seats (just insert heat elements inside the seat padding and wire 'em up).

If you are a good enough welder/fabricator just buy whatever seat you want and but the seat sliders and brackets off your seats that are in there and make them fit lol

That's pretty much what you have to do ... Not rocket science, but a hassle ...

Any seats that'll physically fit into your Tacoma can be transplanted.

Just do a lot of measurements up front to ensure the seats will fit and won't cause any noticeable problems. The issue most often overlooked is seat height. Some OEM seats sit substantially higher or lower than OEM Tacoma seats.

I have spent over a month on this. My reason was to replace the stock bench seat. I searched and searched, I came across seats from JC Whitney and a few other distributors that would fit, not bolt right in just fit, I would have had too get into some fabrication to get those seats right. BTW the average price for a set was $1400-1675 depending on what you want. So i ended up going to the yard and getting a set of SR5's for $35 and spent $650 getting them redone. They came out looking great and best of all they bolted right in.

Are the sr5 seat different? mine just make my ass go numb after 30 miles so its a little rediculious. I was thinking of seats out of mid 90's american cars when they tired tomake cheap luxury cars like celebritys and buicks and such

Lexus and Camry seats have been successfully transplanted into Tacomas. Fabrication of mounts / bases was required. If I recall correctly, these passenger car seats will end up seating you higher than your OEM Taco seats.

Have you looked into just having an auto interiors shop refurbish your original seats with better guts and new covering?
