Well I was out on a hunting trip and my front left wheel bearing let go and I was forced to limp it to the main forest service road for a tow out. The entire bearing assembly/spindle is toast but no biggy, ordered an assembly off one of the guys on this site.

Now that I have taken it apart, what do you make out with my CV? I would love to keep the OE but will that little score in the metal do anything? Provided the dust shield/seal still has a mild press fit will I be ok to run this until the boot goes?

Yup, there is no way you're going to get a good seal with the inboard seal lip against that surface, which will cause the new bearing to fail very prematurely.
