Has anyone ever tried trimming the front bumper plastic valence at the front of the wheel wells to gain a little more room?
I marked on this pic (not my truck) the area in question in orange. Interested in seeing if this has already been done by anyone.

If you did it, I think you'd have a hard time getting a nice finished look on it without repainting the color bumper cover. You may also lose some structural integrity of the front bumper cover.

    Check out the build
Thats a lot of trimming. It would work, but the bumper is plastic and gets most of it's rigidity from the top mounting positions and it's shape.

My guess is it would work, but those areas around the orange would possibly be flimsy.

I know this is 4 years old nearly, but I'm considering it on my unpainted black bumper. Did you ever do it? Why it why not? If you did, pictures?
