I've started researching the many different tire sizes that I can throw on my 2013 Tacoma "Baja" for next spring. I'm currently running the stock BFG A/T 265/70/16 (The picture below). I have did quite a bit of research and yes I have used the search tool, I just wanted to see what some updated opinions are. Here is also a chart with all the sizes for the cooper S/T Maxx.(SCROLL DOWN) I am currently debating between these tire sizes (265/75/16, 255/80/17, 255/75/16, (255/85/16 - overkill/I don't know if it will fit) looking mainly to go +1 tire size if it will fit. I am not limited to this particular tire, just have seen a lot of good reviews for it. I am leaning towards skinnies due to being generally cheaper, and for a better contact point. (Indiana weather sucks!) I do also take my truck off-road, as well as carry dirt bikes frequently. Don't mind trimming plastics, but do not want to touch fenders or knock them during compression. They kind of look cool also. What's everyone's thoughts? Might go to a 17in rim as well, tired of trying to keep these faux bead locks clean! 265/75/16 will fit with no issues, they will fit on a stock tacoma. They will have no issues on your Baja. IIRC some people have run the 255/85/16's with 2" lift.

Note: I am running the 265/75/16 ST Maxx on my truck, its been a great tire so far.

Thanks! I think that's the route I will end up taking, as I don't want to lose flex by stuffing 255/85/16 an oversized tire just to gain less than an inch. If I could clear the 255/85/16 I would go that route for more clearance. Wish there was a test I could do before purchasing and trying to flex it until contact.
