Inlet/Outlet On Factory Trans Cooler?

    I've been searching and searching...

    I'm adding a bigger trans cooler in the morning. Can anyone tell me for sure which line is the inlet/outlet on the factory auxiliary cooler pictured below?

    You'll have to follow the lines to the back of the radiator, but I believe the one that goes from the cooler to the radiator is the out and the one that keeps going back to the trans in the in.

    I believe the coolant goes from the trans to the aux cooler to the radiator then back to the trans.

    Not knocking on you or anyone but pretty common sense that the fluid would flow downward and get sucked back to the engine from the bottom, which would be exactly how the radiator would be setup too.

    So, after all of the searching and asking... The lines are marked from the factory. Lol. They have a small red and blue line on them. Hot and cold. Go figure.

    My cooler is different than the one pictured above though. Both lines are on the bottom. One in the middle, and one on the right. The one on the right feeds the cooler. Even though they are marked, I double checked by pulling the hose and pumping a little out.

    The hottest trans line is all ways at top top of the transmission and the cooler. When the fluid cools it sinks why fight nature? A cross flow cooler does not care but the return line is still on the cool end.
