you did the BHLM on your truck right? what did you use to seal your headlights back up? i did some research but a lot of the threads were from the mainland and because we have higher humidity here i wanted the local advice.

depends on the seal of the original light. I didn't add any extra silicone and havent had problems, but i have a roll of this stuff in my garage for my next retro

 

did you get that from the site or do they sell it locally? planning to do a kona run today.

Yeah on my old truck I did the whole thing. I used silicone and it leaked some. So I added this flowing silicone which is more liquid than normal so it went into all the cracks. That sealed it and had no problems after that. I couldn't find the butyl strips around here. But there probably is

 

FINALLY got my shit together and put a lift on my truck. nothing crazy but I'm happy with the results. next projects RETROFITS. any advice?

Just take your time. It's a lot easier than people think- just make sure you re-seal the assembly good and you'll love the fuck out of it.

 

Same like konaborne said. Take your time and get it right the first time. Make sure it's all aligned and good before sealing it. I had to open mine up to fix it lol. The shroud popped off

Still gotta do mine. Thinking about getting depo housings and getting mine done good
