Alright fuckers, give it one last shot...

Any of you want to check out Rausch Creek this weekend? I'll be there early Friday because I'm meeting up with buddies, anyone is more than welcome to come! I'm planning on camping at RC but I know a few guys are staying at twin grove camp grounds like 20 mins away, it's a very nice site.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!

C'mon up, I can put you to work :) I wish any of my pics did it justice.

Was out earlier and helped push some cars and gave a ride to a guy into the city of Buffalo. He was getting a backhoe to help out our town plows. We had up to 10 stuck at one point. Was a cool ride, but was happy to be home. Now it sits where it belongs, as it's too dangerous and deep to venture out alone.

i can’t even make it thruway is closed last i read.

my cousin got stuck in buffalo and needed to be in hamburg. I hear the national guard was coming in to help, and they where asking people to help use sleds to get people home. saw a video from a gas station off camp road in hamburg and you can’t see the road at all.

If i was up and had a sled or something i’d be trying to do what i could to help. hell last winter when i was up i was shoveling my aunts sidewalk/ part of drive way while it was snowing and i had fun.

I'll head back out tomorrow and offer a hand if I can. I did some good deeds today, and wasn't willing to take the risk any more. It's fun, until you can't see 10' in front of the sled, or you're buried in 4 feet of snow.

I love driving in the worst weather possible! I love being out there when it's snowing feet at a time!

we don’t get feet at a time or feet at all really. But i love driving in bad weather. it will sometimes rain so hard here that you can’t see more than 20/30 feet and roads will flood and i’ll be out just driving around board. I drove around in the kinda small/big storm last year when i was up probably 2’ of snow on the roads.

I always wonder what people think when they see someone from TN driving around in that. i know police always look at windshield and even slow down to look in mirror to see rear license plate. We don’t have front plates of inspections down here.

I see they still have the Thruway shut down, and a State of Emergency in place. We have nothing in Syracuse by Oneida Lake, cold, but not even a dusting, beautiful sunny day so far. I checked the web cams up on Tug Hill, west side in Adams Center and Worth areas, they are showing a couple feet and lake effect starting to snow like a bastard. Anyone west of us that needs help with anything we can do, let us know.

I don't think you guys understand. There is no where to go. Roads are like parking lots. I had a hard time getting through on my sled.

Just got back from being out there for 4 days on standby with out patrol boat. Was working the West Seneca area. I met up with some friends that got hammered in Hamburgh and Cheektowaga! Didn't get too crazy with flooding an all appeared much safer than when we arrived.

Thanks for coming to help. It was very fortunate that the flooding wasn't bad, considering what the previous week was like. Looking at my yard, can't believe it even happened. Crazy how fast it disappeared.

I couldn't beleive how fast it was gone either! It helped it was the first snow and that the rivers and streams were wide open. also helped it was light snow fluffier snow. Glad we could help out and hope all are safe and damage was minimal

Not much in the way of hard trails south of Syr, but the local state forests would give a challenge with the snow being as mushy as it is. Don't go with out a winch.

Anyone from the Albany or capital district area? Anyone know of some easy trails to ride legally in this area? All I have is a stock OR right now but wouldn't mind finding a little mud to play in.
