So I just put on my bedsides today, but I couldn't get my gas filler nozzle to make it to the bedsides...

I put all the stock gas door and the plastic shroud in the glassworks bedsides.

How can I make it reach?

or if you have pictures of your solution would help me out alot!

Not to hijack this but 2 questions. What is the diameter of the rubber fuel tubing going from the gas inlet to the tank? Where can you purchase fuel grade rubber tubing?

I bought my truck with a 2 inch body lift. Whoever did it did not extend the that tube and it has a kink in it. Literally takes forever to fill up my truck.

I'm assuming JDawg has the same problem, that hose isn't long enough.

Hummm I guess I'll chop my fuel filler nozzle in half and get some fuel hose.
    Something like this.

are you missing the main hose? I only see the two smaller hoses in your photo. This photo shows the main hose pinched. You're looking for that hose correct?

That's not a picture of my truck, but mine has three lines coming from the nozzle.
I'm just looking for a way to make it reach. The only option I can think of is to do what that guy did in the picture.
Cutting threw the metal fuel hoses and putting rubber fuel hoses to extend it to make it reach the fiberglass bedsides.

So yours are all metal? Interesting, I've got an '03, but mine all have rubber lines between the metal tubes coming off the fuel inlet and those off the actual tank. I'm wondering if they were cut when the body lift was put on and the hoses added. Cutting and adding line might be your only option. Unless you weld in longer tubes.

I just tried to take mine off (previous picture) to measure it but that bastard is on there so freaking tight, I'm going to have to cut it off. Can't do that until i find a replacement hose. My other hoses look like crap too so I'm going to replace those as well. When i figure out the diameters needed for all three, I'll post back with them.

    http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/Docs/BodyLift_HowTo.shtml#Hoses

Under the section Hoses, Wires, etc

"If needed, gas tank filler (~1" dia.) and vent lines (~1/2" dia.) can be extended with lengths of fuel line tubing"

I think I might be going 1.25 on the big one because it looks like 1'' on there now, and that shit is way too tight.

    Thanks for the link!

Yeah I measured it with a Digital Micrometer and the diameter hose on the outside was pretty close to 1".

I just have to find a fuel hose that the inside diameter of an 1", make sure it's a fuel hose so it wont rot away and clamp it of course.

I bought mine (an '05) with the bedsides already on and there are 3 hoses that connect the metal lines from the filler neck to the tank. If it's not factory that way then the metal lines were cut and a rubber section added with hose clamps.

Yeah the metal lines are not cut. That's basically what I want to do, but a guy I talked too said to make sure it's a fuel line. A regular rubber hose/raditor hose will rot away quick.
