And what do you mean once they run out they are gone? What if replacements are needed?

Do you recommend the clear or the fluted glass housings for the H4 LED bulbs?

Check out the install guide i did here. It has the light output of mine and a couple others.

and here is another post buy a member running my kit HERE

I am not sure i follow. I only have experience installing them in the stock headlight housing which are clear. I cant speak to how they will work in any other housing.

I see. Sorry I have to be honest. I really don't have any experience to make a recommendation. Whichever one would work best with a standard bulb would be the one to go with.

let me first say i am no expert on the science of measuring light. with that said, here are my thoughts on this. the spot is going to focus its light output in a single point or beam. as with a flood, the light is going to be wider spread but not go as far. So my thought is that its going to be based on how far away the light was when measured. and to be honest i don't have those measurements. so my assumption would be they measured the output at a specific distance. so the light output would has dissipated more from the flood due to its wider beam.

now, if i am way off base here hopefully someone will gently put me back on track. :)

Do you know how your LED headlight bulbs would work inside of projectors? I want to swap my headlights for some Amazon projectors. also.

Man, you bring the tough questions. Sorry to disappoint again, but I have no experience with them in projectors. My first thought is they wouldn't do well since the are specifically designed to work with the reflectors inside a standard headlight housing. See, there are only 2 LEDs. One is mounted aimed up in a specific part of the "post" for lack of a better term and the other is aimed down. Then each is positioned a little differently front to back. This way they can maximize the reflector in the housing. If the inside of a projector has similar reflectors it should work fine. But if not then I don't know.

Sorry for the long winded response.
