How about a bed slider? Just a cheaper alternative to these: http://www.bedslide.com/store/us/bedslides/1000-pro-se I'm not getting younger any time soon. Would save my knees Don't know if you can do it any cheaper though.

I looked into making my own. I think the biggest factor on the bed-slide is sourcing affordable slides in bulk or designing a roller bearing system without breaking the bank. The rest is just laser cutting and forming which Chad is already doing a great job with.
