I've had the super 44 on both my 4.0 V6 taco and my 3.4 V6 runner. Fall in love all over again every time I drive it

Performance difference is that you're allowing your truck to breath more, while keeping enough back pressure. I saw a small increase in MPG, and a little more top end pull, but less low end torque

Sound wise it's a huge difference. That extra air allows more sound. My trucks a little raspy and throaty, but way louder than any other tacoma I've ever heard. But not extremely loud either

I have a couple videos I can link

Annonlino, sorry for reviving this thread. I found you and Justus's feedback very helpful! I'm looking at doing a similar setup on my 2015 TRD Sport.

Would you mind sharing how much you spent on this setup through your buddy? Also, you running the same exhaust setup... happy with it? Any progressive mods you've added to it?

    Thanks
    -Richie

It was so long ago, its really hard to remember the exact cost but it was easily under $450 for the whole setup, maybe even less than that? I cant remember.

The only addition to my exhaust is I added a 12"- 16" pipe after the muffler. It got rid of the drone. So if you locate your muffler further back, shouldn't have this issue, just make sure there is at least 12" of piping after the muffler.

Other than that, i love it to death. The y-pipe and muffler combo sounds really good, gives it a unique sound. I drive a lot on the highways, and higher speeds, no drone or annoyance. Sounds deeper at lower RPM acceleration, then the more you get on it, the more it comes alive.

Ill check my photos when I get home to see if i have any current pictures, if not, ill take some and post them.

Any more questions let me know
