Here's mine. Skateboard bearings and a square dowel like the guy with the old Tacoma. I had them around as well. This: https://www.knapeandvogt.com/sites/d...909_8910_4.pdf is a much better idea though.

Mine works well, but isnt professional grade and was kind of a PITA to get right.

Been following this thread for a while and slowly designing my own camper shell set up but what I'm looking for is a little different than what Ive found.

Has anyone built a sleeping platform on one side of the bed (for one person) that folds over to the other side, making a platform across the whole bed, in case you have 2 people sleeping there?

    Hopefully this makes sense...

Not much in there right now. Just my winter pack, first aid set with "window hammer", E-tool, tow strap (just picked up at Cabelas for $20). Air tank/compressor for air horns mounted on pass side.

I sprung for the factory mat for my 2007, transfered it to my 2010 and now to my 2015.
I suspect the same mat will fit into a 3rd gen 201? when I decide to trade again.

Well, here's the place to go to begin your education:
    http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...ke-a-cheap-isolated-dual-battery-setup-for-50
It's a long thread, approaching 500 posts, but it's full of good info, so it's worth spending a some time reading.

I followed the basic setup, using a switched solenoid and running heavy leads back to the bed. Everything is fused and uses Anderson Power Pole connectors to disconnect the battery box for easy removal. I use a 100AH deep cycle lead acid battery. The battery box is set up so that the battery can be charged from the alternator, solar panel or AC charger.

edit: Forgot to mention that I don't use an inverter because they're very inefficient energy hogs. Instead, everything runs on 12 V.
