To remedy your TPMS light issues, from not having the sensors installed... This is a $6 fix in takes 5-10 min.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy this wheel/tire:
Haul-Master - 10 in. Pneumatic Tire with White Hub - 30900 Deflate the tire

Unbolt the (2) halves of the wheel

Insert the TPMS sensors between tube and the tire's sidewall
-make sure the sensor side (soft side) is against the tube
-make sure the casing side (soft side) is against the tire

    Reassemble wheel
-make sure the sensor isn't touching wheel

    Inflate to desired psi...
-Place behind or under seat in vehicle

TPMS light should go off within moments
-no harm to sensors or vehicle

    KIMG0600_zps0cc1f2bc_d6ff0bf9e27c34b011c6bd76c4bc45e59c1313b6.jpg
    KIMG0599_zpsa691cbd5_bc9125618d8f6034d18176d2a1aa5c6ec44f6dfd.jpg

I had to do this because I upgraded from my original 16" steel wheels to my 16" TRD FJ Trail Teams wheels... there are seperate TPMS sensors for OEM steel and OEM aluminum wheels. The sensors are attached to the wheel at different angle. Similar issues may arise with aftermarket wheels. This is a way to turn the TPMS light off.

Picked up some gently used 245/75/16 Michelin LTX M/S2 tires from TW member, OldSkoolArcher (Great guy to work with. Gentlemen) last week. Had them mounted/Road Force balanced yesterday:

    KIMG1420_zpsebe507a2_b9920daf94ebdf3fa79b9f72a764a1377c755f1e.jpg

Differences, so far, from 245/75/16 Dunlop AT20:
    -wider tread width
    -subtle noise increase
-smoother ride (better absorption of bumps, chassis is more settled)
-increased steering feel (AT20's were nervous feeling)
-increased traction while accelerating from stop, while turning

Some more feedback: Got to use the tires in some light snow this morning on the way to work. Nice predictable handling. Used the Auto LSD on a steep uphill turn, 15 mph, 2nd gear... just dug in and propelled me forward. The Dunlops on that same hill usually needed feathering of the throttle, on/off. The M/S 2's just let the Auto LSD do the work.

Cut the tip off last night, at the 1st exhaust flange...

Then decided it wasn't enough, today... so cut it at the downward slope, over the axle. Can't see it all hanging down at all now

That is what I was looking for, last June. All of a sudden, they were being discontinued, hard to get, prices jumped. That's how things like this go in Hawaii.
I am happy with my access cab/V6, but sure wanted the simplicity of the regular cab.
Nice job, great attention to detail. At least I have the manual trans.

Thanks for the hello! You're not missing much here in Pittsburgh compared to CA... miserable cold, dark winter, with lots of snow this year too.

Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it. FJ wheels are clean and simple.

Yea, I struggled to get find them at my local dealers. Slim pickings. Access cab would have been nice but just wanted to cheapest 4x4/4cyl I could get, new.
