Rear View Camera Mount Ideas

    My wife go ta rear view camera kit for her car and we never got around to install. She doesnt want it and Im looking to install on my truck and looking for mounting ideas.

    I have a Trail Gear rear bumper so stumped on how to mount and looking for ideas.

    Order a different camera with a mount or fab one up some way ? Mine had some 3m adhesive tape and I just put it by my ball hitch

    I was thinking of drilling a hole in the tail gate and flush mounting it there... Other than that, Im out of ideas.

    That could work, if its smaller then the one you posted cause that thing is huge haha, if you do do that make sure you can lower it without obstructing it, sure you already knew that but When i first mounted mine I did think about it -__-

    I'd mount it a bracket temporarily until I figured out what the best location is.

    My bu camera came with a mounting bracket and 3m double sided tape, I was also unsure where to mount it so I used the tape and put it at the top center of my license plate. I know in many states that is illegal but it is in the perfect location for me, if a cop complains I can pull it off but it is centered and I can hitch a trailer perfectly, especially since I have a bed topper.
