Just picked up a 2001 Tacoma and I'm in need of a canopy. I've been watching craigslist for a color matched top but nothing so far. Any brands you recommend that look/fit the best on 1st gen tacomas?

Roof racks would be nice. Is it possible to use the roof rack mounts to remove the canopy from the bed?

    Let's see what you've got :D

Mine is an ARE, I've had it for a year, but bought it used. No problems so far other than third brake light is out

Mine's an Astro. I like the profile of it (slightly higher than cab height). But it seems to leak in all four corners no matter how I try to seal the facker.

Same basic shit everybody else had 5 years ago.
Mine is a Leonard I bought and put on in 2003 right after I bought the truck. It has the reinforced roof for the roof rack and yes I have used the roof racks to remove it. There are higher quality tops but they also cost a lot more.

Mine is a Century, leaks around the windows a bit.
It's reinforced on top for the rack but I chose to mount them on the side to keep the profile lower.
A little extra head room is nice inside.

    jeeezus, I love your truck.

Can also easily drum up some boner brew to Yotafish's truck as well.
