I have a 2014 TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB tsb leaf/ So far i want to know which is a better idea. Ive done some research but need a Opinion.

Option 1: Bilstein 5100 all around set at .85 with Eibach/Toytec 1.6 620LB spring. With a 1/4 Spacer on the driver side (Taco Lean) with Wheelers 1.5 AAL.

    Or

Option 2: Bilstein 5100 all around set at "0" with a Toytec 2.5 lift coil 620LB with no top plate spacers, Only 1/4 driver side spacer (taco lean) with Wheelers 1.5 AAL.

I know option 2 would be better cause less preload on the coils. Now whats the pros and cons? They should have the same lift?

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Toytec-3-lift-front-coil-springs_p_1205.html (2.5 front coil part #521600) 2.5 is 2.5in lift?

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/ToytecEibach-front-coil-lift-springs_p_14.html (1.6 front coil part #112-620) 1.6in+.85= 2.45in lift?

    Thanks if you can help

also subbed. i had asked in the suspension section about the newer 2.5" eibachs, looking for real world measurements, and never got any responses. if someone is running the 521-600 2.5" eibachs, i'd be interested in exact measurements of the lift achieved on a double cab V6. thanks

I don't think their listed as Eibach on toytec. Just "toytec" 2.5 coils

Not sure, probable about the same. I haul 3 dirt bikes in the bed and a closed trailer with 3 more bikes with no problem.

It sat rear high by a small amount, I added an extra 3/8" spacer to the front to level everything.

My build thread in my sig has a list of my mods.

I have 5100s in the front with 887s and an Icon 1.5 in the rear with 5160s. My truck was a little high in the front until it settled to level with 3 inches of lift see signature.

Bump. Looking for the same info. I have the 521600 2.5" coils sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I have a 2015 DCSB TRD OR with the TSB leafs. Looking for real world measurements with the 521600 up front (no spacers) and ToyTec/Deaver ' 2.0" ' AAL's. Curious to what my rake will be at this set-up...

This might be long winded, but here we go. I have a 2013 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4. I bought lr uca's, toytec 2.5" lift coils, 1/4" drivers side spacer, 5100s all around, and a 1" block in the rear (with the TSB leaf pack). After the install, with the billies set at zero, I was sitting about 1/4" higher in the rear and I was rubbing pretty bad in reverse (on the cab mount) with 275/70r17 on sport 17s with 1.25" spidertrax spacers. I pulled the front end apart and set the billies to .85 and installed a 1/2" spacer on the drivers side and moved the 1/4" spacer to the passengers side. I'm no longer rubbing and I'm sitting about 3/4" higher in the front. FYI, I also had to install the ECGS bushing to eliminate front end vibrations. Hope this helps.

Are you suspecting I'll rub with the 2.5" coils only? I'm a little confused as I already have the 265/75/16's on with no rubbing at stock height.

Also, noticed you're in Birmingham, couldn't talk you into any lift install assistance huh?

I wasn't implying that you will rub. I just wanted to give as much info as possible. I didn't take any measurements, but based on my scenario I don't think the 2.5" lift coils actually provide 2.5" of lift.

I would love to help out, but I'm a CPA and I won't have much free time until the end of March. If you haven't done the install by then I'd be happy to help.

Got it, so by that logic, running the 2.5" coil AND the 1/2" top plate spacer probably still wouldn't be a full 3.0" on my DCSB 4x4? (based on your results)

Not a problem, mother in-law is a CPA (in Auburn actually) so I understand the busy season. The plan is to do the lift next Saturday in the driveway. A few month's back I did 5100's on my wife's 4Runner with no problem, so it shouldn't be too much different.
