Charlie will be missed and will be in my prayers. I know that he personally helped me out with a computer build and gave freely of himself to others. I would be willing to bet that he helped out others as well. I for one am glad that he touched my life.

Paul if the family is asking for a donation to a charity in Charlie's memory please pass that information on to us.

Charlie and i got along real well.
We e-mailed each other many many times talking about cars and working on them for your career. This man had a passion like very few i have known.
He was able to build cars in his vision to completion. That's a craftsman.
I hope Charlie doesn't mind me taking a couple of sentences from a e-mail he wrote to me. I never, ever, reveal private conversations. However, i think it Shows how he lived.

I was trying to plan a ride to meet him this summer and tour his shop and meet his friends. Things don't always work out the way we want.

If I had to envision Charlie, it would be the picture Jim posted with Charlie's Vette. Foot to the floor, pulling gears, smoking the hell out of the tires and just enjoying himself.

    RIP Charlie
From one Tech to Another. You did dam good work.......

Paul, Sometimes being the bearer of sad news is very hard. I know I did appreciate your updates and I'm sure the rest of the gang did as well. Charlie was a helluva good guy and always posted pics of his shop, cars he owned or worked on and his guitars. I can only wish his family and friends my sincerest condolences and pray that Charlie is at peace. After what he had gone through the past months, he fought back with all he had. God bless him.

X2 Mike and Jim, another great guy gone.

Never met the man except on this forum, but I truly feel a great sense of loss.

I was looking forward to meeting him on his planned trip to HI.

RIP Charlie, and condolences to the family & friends.

I've thought about this a bit to day. It doesn't matter how good looking you are, how smart you are, whether you are rich or poor, talented or not, we all will follow. RIP Charlie.

God Bless you, Charlie! You've touched many lives, some just through this imperfect medium called the internet. We are richer for having known you, and stronger knowing that you will be there watching over all of us.

As I look up on beautiful sunny days and see those fluffy clouds, I will now understand that what I'm seeing is you burning rubber in heaven.

    RIP, friend.
