I wish that was the case. I was going to get a All Pro Baja bumper off craigslist, but either the guy sold it out from under me or really did sell it to his cousin. Never know with craigslist, but o well. Time to put that money into maintenance...

I didn't get shit for my wife this year. We're both pretty impossible to shop for. But...as luck would have it, she took the boys down to see her parents for 3 days before Christmas.

So I took the opportunity to remodel the half bathroom we had downstairs that she absolutely hated. Put a bow on the door and a note that said do not open till Christmas.

It was...a giant cluster fuck to say the least. The previous vanity was sitting right on the plywood floor and the tile was tiled around the vanity. Had to break out 5 of the old half tiles, lay down backer board, re-tile and grout. I got stupid lucky and found a box of the tiles used in our house down in the basement. Grout I picked up from home depot was a close enough match you can't tell unless you stare hard. Also no texture on the walls behind the old vanity so I did my best to match it with a can of knock down and a putty knife. Only thing I didn't get done was the shower door. That's ordered, just waiting.

    Anyways...TL;DR.

I got a hell of a thank you after Christmas festivities were over. :D
