Led cubes behind 2nd gen fog bezels

I'm on the fence on how they look but I am sure they will outperform the factory ones

 

If you could figure out a way to seal it better might not look as out of place

 

How did you do this? Bracing, wiring, etc.

I'm thinking of doing this, but using flush mounts on a plate cut to fit the trapezoid shape of the recess in the plastic fixture.

 

Dealing with the same potential issue. Thinking about Saran Wrap (keep it from clinging to parts) and the fire retardant gap filler foam stuff at Home Depot ( sand down a touch and paint after it sets). Might want to try it out or wait and I may here in a few

 

i did the rigid industries foglight kit. I'm pretty happy with them. cover the hole 100% not as bright as a pod but still better than factory.

So, the kit fits on a 2012-2015 !! Did you have to modify at all, @Blacktaco2042 ?

Rigid's description claims up to 2011.

here for your truck. it includes the mounts and lights too
then all you need is the png harness so they will work with the factory switch and your good to go

Did you wire them into your existing fog light circuit, or did you use the Rigid harness?

 

i went into the fog light harness but i used an adapter from http://www.starkey-products.com/fog-light-adapters-h10-deutsch-connecters i had emailed them an asked if they could build an H11 cause thats what we have an they did at no extra cost. only thing i had to do was trim their fitting a bit. but for $26 bucks i was ok with not cutting the factory harness.

I haven't researched the wiring yet (actually looked at it).
